Lime in water: Almost half of all German homeowners are affected

There are over 19 million residential buildings in Germany. Almost half of them are in a region with particularly calcareous (hard) water. The German technology company “AQON Pure” from Hesse has developed a new plant to reduce lime problems without salt. This is a so-called lime protection system, which prevents lime from depositing on surfaces. No salt is required in the company and there are no follow-up costs. The high quality of drinking water, as provided by the local supplier, is maintained.
