The last test of lime protection systems at Stiftung Warentest was carried out in 2000. For softening systems with salt (ion exchangers), the last test took place in 1994. AQON PURE lime protection systems did not yet exist at that time. It was therefore also not possible for AQON PURE to participate in Stiftung Warentest. Since the last test by Stiftung Warentest was over 20 years ago, the test results from that time are only partially up to date. Devices based only on the effect of electric or magnetic fields performed particularly poorly in the test. These are often magnets or coils that are only attached to the pipeline from the outside.
